Chain in multiples of 3.

PATTERN

Row 1: In the 3rd chain from the hook, 1 SC, CH 1, 1 DC, SK the next two chains, *1 SC, CH 1, 1 DC, in the next CH, SK the next two chains**. Repeat from * to ** ending with one SC in the last CH.

Row 2: CH 1, Turn, skip the 1st SC and the 1st DC. *1 SC, CH 1, 1 DC in the next CH space, SK the next two stitches**. 1 SC, CH 1, 1 DC in the next CH space. Repeat from * to ** ending with 1 SC in the turning CH. CH 1, Turn.

Repeat row 2 until you reach the desired length.
